No rain, all summer it seemed,
and when the first clouds appeared
and a slight mist of rain sprinkles
slightly obscured my usual view
from
our bedroom window I tried to catch
this
as fast as I could before
the rain
got to us, or it stopped.
The very dry palo verdes
look a different color,
barely
holding onto life. |
