This is the courtyard of the Museum House, which used to have a grass lawn, and a large grapefruit tree, when we lived here as newlyweds for a short time. Mr. Bagnall had died; the Sullivan’s were trying to sell it, after they built the Tea Room for themselves and their children. There was a garden of large very old roses below, where the performance garden is now. |
